Dear Nestle,

I am an avid fan of "The Simpsons" on Fox and I am greatly appalled by Fox's recent efforts in shutting down many websites devoted to the show "The Simpsons." While Fox claims that these sites violate their copyright, I feel they provide a great service and only serve to increase the show's audience. It is a tremendously succesful show and the fans are among the most loyal of any show. "The Simpsons" has truly attained cult-like status. The websites these fans produce are a monument to their favorite show. They spend countless hours and talent producing them, asking nothing in return. But Fox's attempts to shut down these labors of love is a slap in the face of the fans who put the show where it is. "The Simpsons""would not have lasted 11 years without loyal fans like this. Nestle is the only company which has created commercials exclusively for these fans, using Our Favorite Family in its ads. Therefore I am joining in the boycott of all Nestle products. I will no longer purchase any Butterfinger or any other Nestle candy as long as Fox behaves so meanly towards their loyal fans. Sincerely,
